This research explores how plotted residential buildings in Delhi/NCR can achieve Energy Efficiency. It integrates passive and active strategies to optimize operational energy use. By employing techniques such as improved building orientation, solar PV systems, thermal mass utilization, and rainwater harvesting, the study achieves up to a 50% reduction in Energy Performance Index (EPI).

Detailed simulations and case studies reveal that combining energy-efficient strategies with renewable sources like solar thermal and photovoltaic systems can fulfill energy demands sustainably. These findings provide a roadmap for designing energy-optimized, eco-friendly residential buildings that we seamlessly include in our design process.
